What is Retrofit Coordination?
Retrofit Coordination is a mandatory operating procedure that must be carried out on all domestic properties that are having energy efficient works conducted under the Trustmark certification scheme, and, is a requirement for all government-funded energy efficiency schemes.
The Retrofit Coordinator will make sure that the energy efficiency project complies with PAS 2035 standards and authorises the energy efficiency works, then lodge the project with Trustmark.
What does a Retrofit Assessor do?
Retrofit assessment is the initial step in the retrofit process and plays a pivotal role in delivering on the UK’s Net Zero goal.
The Retrofit Assessor conducts a comprehensive assessment of a property, collecting information and field evidence (mainly in the form of prescribed photographs of the property being assessed). The Retrofit Assessor id the ‘information gathering tool’ for the Retrofit Coordinator, providing all the data required in order to be utilised by the retrofit designer.

Trustmark is a widely recognised quality approval system for the energy efficiency sector. An organisation that holds a Trustmark registration has demonstrated that they have been trough Trustmark’s vetting process and have proven that they meet Trustmark’s quality criteria and have also made a commitment to a high level of Customer service.
