    The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)

    The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) is a scheme that is available to home owner or private tenant who are looking to save on their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. This can be achieved by the installing of free Cavity Wall Insulation and loft Insulation. You could save around £200 a year on your energy bills for each energy efficiency product installed. These savings are based on a semi-detached house and eligibility criteria will apply to be able to access the installation service.

    Own your home

    Your council tax bands is A to D in England or A to E in Wales and Scotland

    Eligibility Criteria Route 2 

    You or someone you live with is in receipt of one of the benefits below:

    • Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
    • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
    • Income Support
    • Pension Credit
    • Guarantee Credit
    • Working Tax Credit
    • Child Tax Credit
    • Universal Credit
    • Housing Benefit

    If you do qualify, we’ll need to perform a no-obligation home survey to make sure we can install insulation.
